About
I created an app for MedSafe, a digital lockbox for securely storing prescription medications. Originally developed in 2008 by my uncle, the idea stemmed from my childhood experience that exposed the limits of child-proof caps. In honor of his memory, I rebranded MedSafe with a modern approach. The app tracks prescriptions, sends medication reminders, and alerts users to any access attempts.
The Problem
Many households keep prescription drugs in easily accessible places like medicine cabinets. This open access can lead to misuse, addiction, or overdose.
The Mission
MedSafe is designed to prevent drug abuse and overdoses by providing a safe way to store medications—keeping them out of reach from children, teens, and visitors. It offers a simple, secure solution for managing prescription drugs at home. When medications fall into the wrong hands, the consequences can be deadly. MedSafe is made for parents, grandparents, and caretakers who want to protect their loved ones.

MedSafe Box Packaging
The box packaging showcases the product’s features and benefits, with a gradient blue-to-purple design and a pill graphic. It also includes a QR code linking to the MedSafe app for easy access.
MedSafe Trifold Pamphlet
The trifold pamphlet explains how to install the MedSafe, set the code, and mentions the MedSafe Mobile App. Under the section “Opening The MedSafe” it explains the electronic tones of the device and what they mean. I also included the slogan “Make it Safe - Make it MedSafe,” reinforcing the product’s purpose.
